Mocha is a lightwight instant messenger focusing on reliability, security, and being completely lightweight utilizing native APIs over Chromium web apps.

Mocha is currently being developed and doesn't have an ETA for public beta testing.

Mocha was created by Aidan Garcia (BashfulWizard) and was worked on over the years by various people, although since then has been reduced back to just one developer.

We hope to include the following features in Mocha:

• Secure Peer-to-Peer messaging
• Voice over IP (VoIP) for voice and video calling
• (free) File sharing
• Lite version with less features for older computers
• Outbound phone calls
• Offical and Community created content (plugins)

In short: Stay tuned for the next instant messenger that returns to simple instant messaging. Where Discord and Skype has failed, Mocha will succeed.
